The following information is provided to state my position on transactions, as well as to give you some idea as to who you will be doing business with.

Terms and Conditions
All prices listed are net, and subject to change to reflect current market conditions.
Money orders (denominated in U.S. Dollars) or bank checks (drawn on a U.S. bank) are acceptable forms of remittance.
Also, you may use PayPal
to transfer funds. Please do not send cash! Unfortunately, I cannot accept VISA, Mastercard, or any other credit card directly, as the volume and brevity of this sale does not warrant the additional expense (for me or you). As an alternative, however, you may use credit cards with PayPal (at no additional expense to you) to simplify the transaction.
Payment must be received and, in the case of bank checks, deposited and cleared, before your selection(s) are shipped. You must be 18 years of age or older to order. I may respectfully decline any orders that total less than U.S. $10.00.
All item and lot numbers are unique. Lots with the same number appearing on different pages are the same item. Missing lot numbers may be items not yet posted, or those that have been sold or withdrawn from sale for whatever reason.
If there is an item you are seriously interested it, please contact me and I will hold it for you; the earliest email date stamp gets preference. Your request will be acknowledged; if I do not receive payment within seven calendar days, the item will be released for sale.
I have provided images or scans of numerous items. If you would like to see a scan of any item not illustrated, please let me know and I will be happy to post one on the web site or email it to you (kindly do not abuse this offer). My object is to provide a level of comfort and satisfaction that you know what you are paying for, and that there will be no surprises.
Definition of terms:
RESERVED: Item has been reserved/ordered and I am awaiting payment.
SOLD: Payment has been received and transaction is in progress/completed.
International Visitors
Unfortunately, I am no longer accepting orders for books from outside North America. Generally, the postal/shipping costs for books is not economical, and tracing errant parcels once they leave the U.S. postal system is difficult or impossible. My apologies.
Ordering
If you wish to inquire about an item, reserve an item, or place an order, simply
with all of the pertinent information. No formalities are required here, but do remember to provide your full name and mailing address! I will respond to the originating email address and we can set up the transaction.
Your order will be returned by First Class mail (except for books). If you desire any special handling (insurance or registration), or other form of shipment, this will be at your expense (if you are ordering a large dollar amount, I will take care of the insurance. Talk to me). I am located in northeastern California, so please take this into account when waiting for the mail.
Books: The shipping cost for book orders is ADDED to the price of the books, due to their weight. I would recommend that books be shipped by U.S.P.S. Media Mail (Book Rate) because it is the least expensive. Again, insurance or other special coverage is extra and at the buyer's discretion. United Parcel Service (UPS) is also available, but generally a little more expensive.
There are no "handling" charges. All I desire is to be reimbursed for actual mailing/shipping charges.
Who Are You Dealing With?
I am a 60 year-old, semi-retired health care industry consultant, former real estate broker and part time freelance writer and photographer. The task of liquidating a small estate assembled from various family members has been delegated to me, primarily because I am the most conversant with the Internet, and also because of my familiarity with the properties in the estate.
I am not running a business; this is an estate sale. When the properties have been sold, this sale will come to an end. It is my intent to be as honest and fair as possible, both in the description of the properties for sale as well as in conducting individual transactions. The terms and conditions detailed above are necessary to keep a fair balance, and to warn off unscrupulous, would-be buyers. Integrity works in both directions.
